DEALING WITH DIFFICULT SITUATIONS

"Dealing with difficult situations," by Andrew Murray:

  1. Realize that God brought me here. It is by His will I am in this place: in that fact I will rest.
  2. Realize that He will keep me here in His love, and give me grace to behave as His child.
  3. Realize that He will make the trial a blessing, teaching me the lessons that He intends me to learn, and working in me that grace He means to bestow.
  4. In His good time He can bring me out again - how and when - He knows.

So, I am here...

  1. By God's appointment.
  2. In His keeping.
  3. Under His training.
  4. For His time.

Romans 8:28, "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose."

Praise God for the continuous blessings that keep us fresh in the faith, constantly washing us and lifting us when we are most in need. “He hears; He knows; He delivers!” He hears our cries for peace and strength; He knows EXACTLY what we need; He alone delivers when no other can.

Father, we thank you for your unsurpassed ability to hear the faintest of cries in the night for help, even before it is uttered. Thank you for your infinite wisdom and always knowing exactly how to calm our fears by reminding us that we are never alone, and for allowing us to draw on your limitless strength when we tire. And Father, thank you for your eternal mercy that constantly washes us with your glory and your love. Today’s Blog was badly needed and appreciated.

Hey Jerry I love the blog!
I remember as a child being in one of the cramped Sunday School rooms as well as skateboarding in the Auditorium as they were building the new building! (I hope that the statute of limitations is over on that one)
We will continue to pray for your church as you rebuild!
